MARCH 15, 2015

The time is getting near for our 11th annual Cruise to Bermuda. To all who might be considering joining us this year, time is getting short. We have only a few cabins left at our group rate. At the end of February, NCL will take back any remaining cabins. You will still be able to purchase tickets right up until May (if available) but you will have to purchase tickets at NCL's rate. NCL's rate is $25.00 to $100.00 per person higher, depending on your category selection. The deadline for all of this is the second week in February, so if you think you want to join us please do so by the second week in February before the prices go up. Things are looking good so far for Governor Glenn. We now have thirty cabins sold. Governor Glen and I have been working very hard to make this the best trip ever. We would like to get another 15 cabins sold so that we can reach Governor Glen's goal! 2015 is a special year because it is:Bermuda's 44th; New England's 96th and Kiwanis International's 100th year anniversary. Governor Glen is working very hard with the Bermuda Kiwanians on a float for the Bermuda Day Parade. This will be only the second time in el even years that we will be on the island for this parade; the first was Past Governor Dave Koohy's cruise. Everyone is welcome to accompany the float in the parade. Bermuda Day is Bermuda’s biggest holiday; lots of fun, plenty of food, plenty of entertainment and just good old fellowship! Let's have a true New England showing! Please contact me at (978) 372-9890 <dtandy@haverhillwater.com> or Steve Shiff at (978) 535-1952; <sshiff@msn.com

Yours in Kiwanis and Friendship,
Robert E. (Bob) Tandy
Distinguished (3) Past Lt Governor Div 12
Bermuda Cruise Chairman 2005-Present

MARCH 20-22, 2015

Mid-Winter Conference will be held at the Holiday Inn in Mansfield, MA.
A NOTE FROM GEANA DELISLE:

Hi again everyone! I will be posting this a few more times. I want to get the word out about Governor Glen Cefalo's Silent Auction! Please help make this a huge success!!!

Because Governor Glen does not have a First Lady, he has asked me to continue in that role this year for the purpose of organizing his silent auctions at district conferences and conventions. Governor Glen has announced that the proceeds from these auctions will be split between the Kiwanis Foundation of New England and the Eliminate Project. Kiwanis and UNICEF have joined together to help eliminate Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus as a killer of newborn infants. I will ask you again this year to put together a gift basket or other donation which we can off when we gather in Mansfield, MA. Thank you so much for your support last year, when our silent auction in North Conway brought in $4,000 and funded the first year of the KFNE club grant program, helping to equip a pediatric emergency room in Bermuda, launch the first-ever one-day Key Leader event in Connecticut, and build a playground at a battered women’s shelter on Cape Cod. Please continue your support, and let’s have another great Kiwanis year.
