Town & Country Federal Credit Union is holding its "2017 Better Neighbor Fund" competition through October 31. The credit union will donate a total of $25,000.00 to the eight non-profits who get the most votes on their Facebook page. Organizations can get $2,000 or $5,000 grants. Scarborough Kiwanis Charitable Foundation was one of the non-profits nominated! You can vote for the club by clicking on this link: http://woobox.com/iqoth4 or going to Town & Country Federal Credit Union Maine's Facebook page and clicking on the "2017 Better Neighbor Fund" tab on the left side. Please take the time to vote for us, and encourage your friends, too! Each person can vote once a day through October 31.
EMT Training - Pediatric Trauma Management Course
The Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute (KPTI) has updated its Pediatric Trauma Management course for training emergency medical personnel (EMTs and paramedics) in Kiwanis communities. The program is offered in conjunction with local Kiwanis clubs and is designed to provide emergency medical personnel with the knowledge and expertise to confidently provide treatment for pediatric trauma cases. Continuing education credits are provided for EMTs. Interested clubs should contact Anne Keliher, KPTI Project Specialist at 617-636-6381 or akeliher@tuftsmedicalcenter.org
